360 Sport and Entertainment was charged with a mission to creative the most innovative, action-packed and fan friendly triathlon format in history. With what began as an idea and a few bullet points on paper, Super League Triathlon was created over a six-month period with a focus on entertainment and fan engagement and resulted in the most significant triathlon event in recent history, Super League Hamilton Island.
360 Sport and Entertainment created the Super League Triathlon brand from the ground up. Through the development of brand pillars (innovation, speed, entertainment, fan engagement) we parlayed these pillars across all aspects of the brand and event execution from event look and feel, graphics, programming style, commentary teams, promotional content and athlete engagement to ensure that a cohesive message, look, and experience was delivered across all touch points of the brand. 360 Sport and Entertainment produced the entire look and feel program for Super League Triathlon delivering the most striking brand look in the sport.
Central to the development and value proposition of Super League Triathlon was to deliver the-World’s most compelling triathlon television programming. 360 engineered the programming requirements for Super League Hamilton Island, appointing Chief Entertainment and Gearhouse Productions to undertake an ambitious 3-day live broadcast on Hamilton Island, which resulted in 5.5 hours live programming and highlights shows being distributed to more than forty international networks. The programming was heralded as a watershed for triathlon. The powerful graphics package and opening title sequence was developed in collaboration with Zspace and elevated the program from mere triathlon coverage to sports entertainment.
