Conceived by His Highness, Sheik Nasser bin Hamad al Khalifa the Triple Crown event in Bahrain was a showpiece for all of international triathlon. With extraordinary prize-money and media attention, no other event in the world of endurance sports attracted as much attention as this event in 2014.
360se was appointed to deliver the complete look and feel program for the event, with a brief to integrate the cultural identity of Bahrain into a world-class event presentation program. Primary event precincts included the Bahrain International Formula Once Circuit, the Al Areen Wildlife Park and Bahrain Bay, with more than 50 kilometres in distance separating the venues.
As a first time event in a country that had not previously held a major multisport event, local knowledge, resources and time constraints were a challenge in the implementation of this project. With less than five months lead-time 360se navigated the cultural, resource and language challenges to engage local and international designers suppliers and operations staff in the procurement and fulfillment of a world-class look and feel program. Bespoke production, such as a mammoth finish arch replica of the Bab-al-Bahrain, the gateway to the Bahrain old town, was key to meeting the exacting standards of His Highness and delivering and event that truly stood out from the crowd.
The success of the program at the Triple Crown look and feel program in Bahrain 2014, led to the appointment of 360se to management the look and feel program of the subsequent Triple Crown event in Dubai in February 2015.
