360 Sport & Entertainment has been appointed by Athletics Australia to drive brand and marketing development for the World Athletics Cross Country Championship Bathurst 2021. This “world-event” will feature 700 elite cross country athletes from more than 60 nations with broadcast beamed to all corners of the globe. This event is an opportunity to showcase Australian athletics and the iconic Mount Panorama venue on the world stage.
In collaboration with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and Athletics Australia 360 Sport & Entertainment has developed a compelling brand mark for the event which harnesses Australia’s unique culture and pays homage to the traditional land-owners. IAAF’s pending rebrand to World Athletics sees Bathurst 2021 as the first international event to develop an event brand mark under the new World Athletics brand architecture.
The boomerang is the hero of the brand mark, carefully arranged to resemble the legs of a group of runners.
360 Sport & Entertainment is leading the brand and marketing development for the World Athletics Cross Country Championships Bathurst 2021 in collaboration with Athletics Australia, IAAF, Bathurst Regional Council, NSW Office of Sport and Destination NSW.
